The castle was created by one man, who spent more than twenty years moving 1,00 tons of coral rock and carving each stone entirely by hand, without the aid of any machinery. The Martin Z. Margulies Sculpture Park is a unique exhibition of priceless works of art, displayed on the vast campus of Florida International University. Famous artist Martin Margulies donated many of his famous sculptures to the park in 1994, so that they could be widely appreciated. Guided tours of the Martin Z. Margulies Sculpture Park are available and there are also audio tours at the park. The Martin Z. Margulies Sculpture Park is easy to reach and lies on the south-western side of the city.

The Crandon Park Marina is part of the Crandon Park, which was once a huge coconut plantation and now also boasts a major tennis center and stadium, golf course, amusement center , old-fashioned fairground rides and beaches.

Situated in central downtown Miami, the Metro-Dade Cultural Center covers more than 1.2 hectares / 3 acres and is home to a number of top museums, including the Art Museum and also the Historical Museum. Other attractions include the Main Public Library, with over four million books, documents and archives, and there is also a peaceful courtyard area with seating.
